If you have not gotten a hotel room yet, you are running short on time! Just about all of the hotels have booked our blocks up full. The only hotel with space left is the Wyndham Grand. It's the furthest hotel, but remember, we run a regular shuttle starting on Thursday morning and going until the wee hours of the morning. Some of the other hotels may show sporadic availability as people cancel their rooms (at the cost of their one-night deposit), but the Wyndham is the only spot with guaranteed space left.
At close of business on June 6, 2016, the hotel reservation web page will be turned off. Please don't wait until the last minute, lest you get stuck without a cozy place to sleep during the convention.
Lottery results are now available! Artists, please let us know if you find any discrepancies (i.e days you did NOT sign up for that you received, etc.)

Howdy artists, art fans, members, and guests!
Just a friendly reminder that signups for the Anthrocon Artists' Alley Lottery close IN ONE WEEK.
The lottery will officially close at 12:00 AM Eastern on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 (for clarification, that's the time when it's dark outside, between the 31st and the 1st, the moment the date changes to June 1) and the drawing will happen that day.
We anticipate having results posted no later than June 2, 2016, so keep your eyes on this website, and the email you used to register.
As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via email.
So if you caribou-t getting a seat in Artists' Alley, make sure you sign up now!
Here it is! The first look at the Anthrocon 2016 schedule! We're using Sched again this year:
Q: Will there be a printed schedule this year?
Yes, absolutely. Our Publications Pony Xydexx is hard at work at on it.
Q: What if I see an error in the schedule?
Do you see any typos, events at the wrong time, events without descriptions, or things that just don't make sense? Let us know either by sending us an email or in the comments below. We are publishing the schedule extra early this year so as to get as many eyes on it as possible before the schedule is printed.
UPDATE 5/24/16: Convention Guide ads are currently SOLD OUT. If you are still interested, let us know and we will add you to a waiting list in case any space opens up before Friday.
Thanks for your interest! -Xydexx

Mr. Joaquin Baldwin’s animated shorts Sebastian's Voodoo (2008) and Papiroflexia (2007) have earned him over 120 international awards including honors at Cannes, The Student Academy Awards, The Student Emmys, among others. He is currently employed as a layout artist at Disney Animation. Please join us in welcoming such a talented artist who has contributed so much to the fine art of anthropomorphics!
Art Show space is still available! Artists, please send in a reservation before May 31 if you'd like to participate. You can download the information packet with the display rules and a space reservation form from:
Currently there is panel space available in both the General and Mature Galleries, and some table space in the Mature Gallery. All the General Gallery table space is spoken for, but we may get cancellations so we'll accept some requests for that, and fill them if we can.

Changes are on the way. We are expanding registration in order to handle the increasing number of people attending Anthrocon. We are striving to increase our throughput and decrease the wait times at registration for our attendees.
Not only is registration expanding but the layout is also changing. For that reason I am posting a map of the new registration layout. I want to get this out there so people will get an idea of where they will need to go when they pick up their badge.
A larger downloadable version of the map can be found here.
Of course with more stations it means we will be need a lot more volunteers, especially on Thursday and early Friday. And don’t forget bag stuffing on Wednesday. Come and help us out. Not only is it a great way to meet other people but it helps out the convention. Put in enough hours as a volunteer and you can earn a free con shirt or even a free attending level membership for next year’s convention.
