Thank You Letter From Animal Friends (2007 Charity)

We received two separate emails from Animal Friends after our 2007 convention. The first one was via email:

Hello Brian,

I can not stress to you how much we enjoyed our time at Anthrocon! Everyone
was so knowledgeable, friendly, and generous. I have received many comments
from the volunteers as well saying that they would like to have a presence
at next year's event. Please keep me updated as to when sponsorships become
available.

Regardless, here are the totals from the event:

Event Totals:
Gross Proceeds: $6,608.71
Live Auction: $5,080.00
Misc. Donations: $1,528.71
Friday- $429.26
Saturday- $399.15
Sunday- $700.30
Expenses: $50.00 (Parking Reimbursement)

Net Proceeds: $6,558.71

We are very happy with how the event went. Once again, thank you for
everything that you have done to help us! If we can do anything else for
you, please let me know! And wonderful job on a record-breaking event!

On behalf of our staff, our volunteers and (especially) our animals, I would like to thank you, the staff, and the volunteers at Anthrocon for the opportunity to attend the convention last weekend.

I for one was thoroughly impressed with the compassion, dedication, and knowledge of the event participants regarding animal behavior and our organization.

With all said and done, we raised $6,558.71 for the homeless residents at Animal Friends during the convention. [...]
