Testing the Email Address Question
This is a test in reference to the question that came up wondering if email addresses were removed.
I figured it out just now. Apparently, if you have scripting off, it cuts out Email addys. I normally surf with scripting off.
*boggles*
You might want to look into the Noscript FireFox extension. It lets you whitelist specific sites.

My LJ - My Website
*shrug* I've never had a problem. 99 percent of the sites I go to respond just fine with scripting off, and the other 1 percent I just turn them on for a short time.
Besides, I use *gasp* IE.
So now I know, and if I need an Email addy from a post here, I'll just kick 'em over for a minute to get it.
I use IE too, wee!
You could also add *.anthrocon.org to your trusted sites, I highly doubt Giza would let anything nasty into this site
EDIT: I figured out why this is occurring. In order to protect addresses from spam, a javascript converts the letters into escape codes, so the actual text isn't viewable in the source code. If you have scripting off, it wouldn't run this script, and since there's no "noscript" option for it, nothing is displayed.

Works for me, in fact it even turned my email address into a mailto: link.
And now you know, and knowing is half the battle...
