If you are planning on participating in the fursuit parade (or if you are local to the Pittsburgh area and you'd like to help the parade out)....try to bring a small, battery powered boom box or FM radio with you. Our parade leader, Yappyfox, has something special planned for you...and having your own boom box / radio nearby will be most beneficial to you. Smiling

Anyone who wants to be a wrangler/escort for the event and carry a boom box or radio is also very much welcome.

The parade this year will Start at 1:30pm SHARP on Saturday afternoon near the "West Corner of the Park". (It's right by the skybridge over the dealer room). Try not to be late. Yappy ensures that this event starts on time.

I'm sure they will. But many suiters will want to have radios with them as they walk through the parade route. Smiling

I have a partial suit (Head, hand/foot paws, tail, arms and legs), are those welcome in the parade?

Would a personal MP3 player that can receive FM signals do? I just need an external speaker for it. Non-amplified of course.

i might as well throw this in if theres talk of recorded music as it seems. if you can find me a marching snare drum and harness i can do what i do Laughing out loud would be interesting to see a horse in fatigues with a marching snare playing cadences that i know (granted would sound a ton better if there was someone with a tenner and bassdrum but chances of finding furrs that can play them that know the cadences i know is highly unlikely) still thought id throw that out there, it dosnt matter if its a traditional syle (arm sling like OSU uses) or modern chest harnesses (like jus about everyone else uses)
All give some, but some give all.
you will not be forgoten

We have not yet planned what we are going to do for music with the fursuit parade this year. Please note that the discussion you responded to is more than 6 months out of date.
