Is it possible to upgrade a registration online?

No, it is not. We had trouble getting our system to do that reliably.

So could one pre-register as a supersponsor and request a refund for an earlier pre-registration?

As per Registration FAQ:

**I just realized I cannot go. Can I get a refund?**

Yes. Refund requests can be handled at registration.2007(AT)anthrocon.org until the close of pre-registration. At that point (June 15th) we will be unable to offer refunds. Please note that we are no longer able to offer deferred memberships. If you cannot attend the convention, you must tell us prior to June 15th. After that, we are unable to offer refunds either (honestly, the money is already spent at that point).

Actually, it'd be easier (and nearly as quick) to upgrade in person at the convention. We'd also have less paperwork involved. Smiling

Actually, yes, that's the most expeditious at this point.

1) Go to the online registration and register as a supersponsor.

2) Send an email to registration.2007(at)anthrocon.org prior to midnight tonight and request a refund of the old registration (it would help to provide the badge number).
