Is relaxing this close to con even possible?
When I'm able to silence the near constant con-prep anxiety ("Did I fax that form?" "Did I return that phone call?" "Is this contract complete?"), I've been 'relaxing' by playing a lot of Smackdown vs Raw 2007 with my partner. Your results may vary, but a powerbomb through a table always puts a smile on my face

permalinkI pre-pack. Basically, I pack the clothes etc I want to wear at the con, so I don't accidently wear them beforehand and get'em dirty. Also, I review my list of things I need to bring, and check over my list of people I want to meet up with etc.

ah yes, the obsessive packing of one's crap LONG in advance.
ya know, last year I packed my car a month in advance. had everything in there except the food, which I waited till the day before to pack.
Litterally woke up at 4 AM, sat down for a half hour to chat with my parents before stuffing down some cereal and leaving a half hour earlier than planned(was supposed to leave at 5AM, but left at 4:30 instead cus I couldnt wait any longer)
This year I might end up doing something similar, though my car isnt packed yet, it will be pretty darn soon. Ill probably get started on packing sometime this week cus its the week before AC.
Speaking of packing, I think its time I packed up all that scrap metal and took it in for that green papery stuff. Help with the funding of AC. ^.^

Between worrying about money, worrying about Studio Maki's website (Go Look! Made by a kitty! http://www.studio-maki.com/ ) and work, I have no relaxation time.
Con getting closer, kitty ready, but not ready! Ahh!
Tiger kitty ready for AC, at your service,

I crack, get in the car, drive to Pittsburgh and camp out in front of the convention center until the Con begins! No, I actually have been going on a lot of runs, and working out quite a bit to distract me. I also have been doing a lot of reading to take my mind off the convention and focus it on something else.
Dear lord, you want me to do what with that hairdryer!?
