Hi guys, I'm in the UK, do I still have to purchase a PA Sales Tax license? How does that work? Sorry to be all questions and no answers! This year's con hasn't even happened yet and I'm already looking forward to next year |

Yes, it works the same way. You send in an application for a Pennsylvania sales tax license, and after a short (or in some cases, annoyingly lengthy) time a certificate will be given to you.
You need to collect 7% above the purchase price for each item sold and keep it aside. After the convention, you go to a convenient web site that will ask how much you made on sales, and will then ask you to remit 7% of that amount (6% to the state and 1% to the city). Then you need only send the money in. The trick is that it has to be in U.S. dollars.

Actually, as I recall, they have multiple options for payment, and I believe that a credit card is included in that.
