I'd like to see it, but that depends on the time I have (since I'm gonna be in the con), and my dad

It will be interesting to see how they view "Furries." I think I'll try to make it there so I can give them some feedback.

Kind of what I was thinking. I can not wait to see how everythingawful twists it around to seem evil. Maybe they will play it off as a furry recruiting ploy. *laughs*

Mind if I come with you? 10 O'Clock is a bit late, but the distance is walkable, and I am all for positive portrayals of both the Fans, with all of our variety, and of the thing that we are fans _of_. It DOES qualify as "Furry Art", after all!

If you think you can keep up with me....

I'll likely be leaving the hotel around 9:45. I've got my own tickets waiting at the box office.

After seeing the "Great White Blur" myself, I doub't anything short of a caffinated cheetah could keep up with you.

Interesting you should say "caffeinated cheetah". I happen to know one. Sticking out tongue

From the article in the paper it appears as though it will be a rather positive image.

I should show up in suit. I wonder how well that would go over...

From the news article it sounds like they are trying to portray furries in a good way, I bet they'd like it =)

It would be something if we could get a hundred or more odd suiters to show up wouldn't it. Think about the reaction of someone who was just going out to see a show when they walk in to find the whole theater, audience and actors alike in fursuit. They would give the worlds greatest double take. *laughs*

Keep in mind it's being billed as a reading, and not a full performance, so they quite possibly won't be wearing any sort of costumes.

That would be pretty good to get a whole bunch of suiters. Assuming I am able to go (which hopefully I should be) I'll be in suit!

Well, judging from the article, I guarantee you one thing:

The SA goons are gonna piss all over it. xD

Q: How do you make an SA Goon upset?

A: Blow the whistle on one of their pranks.

The Internet is all fun and games to them unless it's their ox getting gored. Then it's all Serious Business.
