For those going to the Supersponsor Lunch on Saturday who are planning on participating in the Fursuit Parade, make sure to have your escape route from the lunch planned in advance so you can get ready for the parade. The lunch starts at noon, and the parade starts at 1:30pm. I don't remember how long the luncheons lasted in the past, but I can easily see people losing track of time after chowing down on fine food. I don't know how far away one event will be from the other, so be prepared to hoof it double time to make it there. I know I'll likely be cutting it close to be ready in time especially if Yappy makes good on his threat to have it start at 1:30 'sharp'. So have your fursuit ready to go the second you're done eating so you can make it to the parade on time to march the other thousands of fursuits who will be there. |

No, you do not need to dress up for it.
I attended one year with facepaint on.

permalinkThanks for that heads-up. I am glad I will not need to pack my formal suit in with my fursuit in my suitcase! *lol* (They shed on a business suit something TERRIBLE!!!)
I have been wishing to ask this question. Thank you, Zipjay, for asking the question..

You could always suit up before the luncheon . . .
(probably not a good idea, but it sure would be fun to watch

I generally try to get the luncheon to wrap up by 1 PM. Perhaps a wee bit early, since I'm sure that our guests are quiet eager to see the fursuit parade themselves!
