Whether you are traveling to Pittsburgh by plane, train, automobile, or boat(!), we have you covered. Directions on how to make it to Pittsburgh by all of these methods of transportation are on our website at: http://www.anthrocon.org/travel Parking in Pittsburgh Parking is one thing that Pittsburgh has no shortage of. In addition to parking garages for both the Westin Hotel and Convention Center, there are outdoor lots with rates as low as $5 per day! http://www.anthrocon.org/parking I-376 Outbound closure from 8 PM on Friday to 6 AM on Monday Just a note for anyone will be leaving Anthrocon between 8 PM on Friday the 6th and 6 AM on Monday the 9th of July, I-376 East Outbound from Pittsburgh will be closed. If you are traveling to Anthrocon during that time frame, you will not be affected! Would you like to help make Anthrocon 2007 a success? We have numerous volunteer opportunities available! If you volunteer 15 hours or more, you get free membership to Anthrocon 2008. Any hours that are worked on Wednesday, early Thursday, late Sunday, or Monday count double! Meeting your friends at the con Since Anthrocon is spread over such a large venue, it can be a challenge to meet up with your friends. We do NOT recommend that people meet in the lobby of the Westin due to the amount of traffic that flows through that area. Here are some alternative meeting locations:
Lose something? Have questions or concerns during the convention? The staff in the Anthrocon Operations Office are here to help! They provide Lost and Found services, can answer any questions about the convention or the surrounding area, and address any questions or concerns you may have about the convention itself. The Operations Office will be open at Noon on Wednesday and remain open 24/7 until Monday morning.
