Lets just say you'll be waiting in a very long lineup.

First, chill.
I'm pre-registered, but registration is pretty much the same at any convention. You get in line, wait your turn, fill out the forms, pay your money and get your badge. That doesn't sound too hard, does it?
The only difference I'm aware of is that at Anthrocon, you "fill out the forms" by entering the information on a computer. Your state ID should be fine: that's what I use.
Any other details can be found by clicking on the REGISTRATION tab to the left.

As long as the ID has your picture and date of birth on it, it'll be fine.

And I'll quietly point out that the line to register supersponsors is much, much shorter than the general registration line!

Thats why I shall never again be less than supersponsor. Muahahahahaha!

I'll get supersponsor next year kage *laughs* I'm actualy going to anthrocon on the kindness of two other furs (Ones paying for my hotel room and reg fee and the other is paying for all my food XD)

And sorry for my little panic earlier .. I really thought I had more time than that .. ^_^

And this year, it will run like a well-oiled machine!

...Right?

We always run like a well-oiled machine!

..sometimes that machine is Trabant, but it's a well-oiled Trabant.

We care very much for sponsors and supersponsors, and will try yto make sure they are given badges most rapidly. Last year's logistical issues should be fixed.

Should be.

To answer specifically, here's what to expect....

A) You will walk up the stairs (unless you are unable to) until you find the Registration line. You will recognize it because it is a long line, and when you ask someone "Registration line?" they will say "yes" instead of pointing you to a longer line.

B) You will find ways to entertain yourself on this line. Bring a book or something. Try not to cut off your hearing, because you need to make sure you can hear announcements and staff and so on.

C) You will reach the front of the line. You will enter your registration information by keyboard and following the prompts on-screen. Try not to make any typos.

D) When you are finished with that, you, your money and your ID will complete your registration quickly and painlessly, at which point you will receive your badge which you must wear at all times. (Even back home when the convention is over.)

(Or maybe not.)

A current State Identification Card is wonderful. To note, if you are under 18, you will need a Parental notification form filled out, signed, and notarized.

http://www.anthrocon.org/faq/registration tells it all well.
