So, is it a piece of cake to pull up a user count?

I thought it would be cool to see how many people are registered on the forums just before AC, and just after, and see how those numbers compare to the attendance count.

My guess as of right now 3-7-2007 0024 PST is 1114

There's no correlation, actually.

This site has gone through several incarnations over the years, with Drupal being the latest. I really didn't open up user registration on this site until just after our 2006 convention, and only opened up the forums here shortly after letting users on. (before that, our forums were phpBB-powered)

Also, don't forget to take into account the dozen or so spammers who we had to kick off of here, and the occasional confused user who created a second account because they forgot their first account's login name.
