I felt a topic like this was necessary after having been smashed twice during thursday's 'retro'/trance sets by stickers/stringers on the dance floor.

While I'm sure a good portion of you on the floor are adept stickers who are well aware of their personal space, I've noticed there are an equal amount of those who act with a little less care and experience.

I would suggest, as a matter of safety and courtesy to others that those choosing to perform with glowsticks or any such fast-moving raver toy, that you take care to mind the space you're occupying, that it's well away from any clusters of dancers and that you continually mind the space you're using as the dancefloor's occupants tend to shift around throughout the evening.

Suiters will have even more difficulty spotting you, so it's up to you to be aware of your space.

On a more serious note, there are recorded instances of people being blinded due to a glowstick strike to the eye. They're very shiny, pretty and made of plastic but are still capable of injuring another person due to the speeds at which they travel.

That being said, see you on the dancefloor. ^_-

Thanks,
Kensuke_Kitty,

Well that's 'cause I told them all you're the only fur here that listens to Eurodance and they were like "What the fuck?!?!?!?!" and then they all ran off to plot their vengence.

There'll be no Eurodance at my con!! Sticking out tongue
