Hello,

I had recently made a few purchases of prints during the auction on Saturday, July 7 & tried to pay for them early in advanced BEFORE leaving early Sunday morning, but, was denied and told to pay on sunday AFTER the PG auction. That sunday morning was another auction that a friend of mine help bid for me, but it seems he too could not get the total amount that I owe for the prints.

My name is Jaquel Star, (Robert Phelps), and I need to know where my prints are and the TOTAL I need to pay as I was NOT able to on Sunday. I'm at a lost here as I tried everything I could but was not able to call as I have been very busy since the day I left. If SOMEONE can please help me here I would be at least thankful that I can pay and get my prints back. Yes, I did leave an address on the paperwork for the actuion so the prints could be sent to me by mail.

Listed below are the name of the artist, number bought from that artist, & the content of the prints:

Dark Natasha - (2)(Mature & PG)
Nduli - (1)(Mature)
Heather Bruton - (1)(PG)

All the prints brought were jackals of the egyptian god, Anubis. Again, please respond to this forum topic if possible, as it is pretty urgent.

Thanks.

Based on a personal foul-up some years ago, here is what will probably happen:

In a few days (when the words "Art Show" no longer send PeterCat screaming in fear), he will look over the unclaimed art and contact you. He will send you a polite e-mail or snail-mail letter reminding you of the piece(s) you did not pay for and pick up. He will include the total amount you owe and request payment. Send him the money and he will have the art packaged and sent to you. When this happened with me, he did not include estimated shipping and handling costs. If he does not add them, add a few dollars to the total to help cover the cost.

In my case, I had paid for three pieces of art at the con but had completely forgotten that I had bid on a fourth. I had the check in the mail the day after I received his letter (literally), and had the art shortly afterward.

This message may get a quick response from him or you could send e-mail directly to him: the Art Show should be listed under the CONTACT US tab on the left.

Good morning Mr. Phelps, (sorry, couldn't resist)

At the moments your prints are securely stored with about four dozen other pieces of unclaimed artwork. I'll be taking them with me when I return home from Pittsburgh late Tuesday, and I have a full work week on my ordinary day job the rest of the week. I'll be unpacking and sorting out the unclaimed artwork over the next week or two, and contacting all the buyers involved about what they have, shipping costs, and information for sending in payment. Once I receive payment, I'll ship out the artwork.

I'm sorry we weren't able to accept payment for your pieces right at the mature auction -- for people who are buying artwork only at the mature voice auction, with nothing else that didn't make it to the voice auction, it would be ideal to wrap up the sales transaction Saturday night so they could take their artwork right then. I didn't have the presence of mind to realize that ahead of time and bring the necessary supplies to the auction room to be able to do this.

It's in my notes for next year. The payment options might be more limited; we'd definitely be able to accept personal checks for this, perhaps cash although we might not have enough change to handle a lot of people, but credit cards might pose a problem as we wouldn't have a terminal -- we'd have to take a manual imprint of the card without verification, and I'd be worried in case there's a problem submitting the charge,

*Sighs*

Good, thanks PeterCat. I'm relaxed now from the reply.
I hope that I will have everything available when the time comes. If you can, could you send me an estamate of the price on my prints I auctioned on? If not "right now", or if you get busy with work, I can understand, I just wanted to know before a week or two as I might be moving,(hopefully not soon), so I can have the money in hand to pay up front while I manage my money. And again, thanks. Heh heh, yea, I know the whole "Phelps" thing as it is from 'Mission Impossible', so I know the joke. xD. Anyway, hope to hear from a reply and as always, thanks.

-Jaquel
