Typically the DVD featuring hilights of Anthrocon is first released for public purchase the day the dealer's den opens the following year. Therefore, that DVD will be available Friday morning of the next Anthrocon.
Your options for obtaining obviously would be to drop by the dealer's den area, and find the con store (oftentimes being run by Grandma and Grandpa Kage! Make sure to stop and say hello!). The con store is set up against the wall to your left side as you walk into the hall, or at least it was this past year.
The other way to obtain the DVD would be to visit the online store featured on this web site somewhere on the left margin...um...which even I myself can't seem to find at the moment. It may be down for the after-con winding down or some such. Anyway, if the con store online still does exist, you still have to wait, probably until after the '08 con for it to become available, if not immediately during the con.
Either way, you're looking at about a year. It takes them, keeping in mind they're all volunteers, about a year to compile all the footage from the cameras, edit, cut, paste, add commentary and other video-related things.

Wow, this I was not aware of. I was actually planning on waiting until the 07 DVD came before I got the previous ones, but... looks like i'll be safe on getting them at any time now.
Oh, and I found the con store through a search on google.

Just a note on the Con Store, though - order fulfillments during the year are handled by one person and one person only: Uncle Kage. You might want to hold off for a few weeks on ordering anything (if you can even access the Con Store) so he has a chance to recover.

permalinkConsidering Kagemushi is a cockroach, that is not a non-sequitur.
(Too old and incomprehensible for many of the posters here perhaps, but a non-sequitur it ain't.)
