New to the furry fandom

First off, Welcome. I too was like you not long ago. Upon learning about the fandom itself, I realized that I was a furry ever since I was a child. Although the furry fandom seems huge, I found that it's really simple. To me, the furry fandom is a love for animals that take on a human quality. It can range from the talking turtle on Dragon Ball Z to the Kilrathi of Wing Commander.

Before I attended Anthrocon, I never knew about the Funday Pawpet Show. It was from that show that I realized the furry fandom reaches all forms of entertainment. Currently I am learning about Furrymuck. As far as I know, Furrymuck is a text based furry world. There's also 2nd Life. A 3D world created by the users. 2nd Life is a bit too complicated for my preferred entertainment, but I would still give it a try.

As a community, you will find yourself right at home (unless you're like me and only my mom knows anything about this because she did some research on her own). There's a reason why I don't go around telling everyone what I am. It's a hard truth, but there are many people around that don't understand nor want to understand what the Furry Fandom is all about. But meh, such is life.

Furry fandom is really fun to me(Itll be to you too hopefully)
Ever since Ive been introduced to anime,I found Furries myself and loved it.(Even though furries were classic)
(Personally I have a problem with thinking too much so I tend to picture myself as a furry(A wolf) throughout the day o.0 Cant do nothin about it so I just roll with it)

ANYWHO, As you may know this fandom is for furry appreciation.Its been all around us ever since we all were little.My fav classic was Tom&Jerry.Its also shown through art.

(you dont have to dress up as one,
but the most important part is to BE A FURRY AT HEART)

Some people reject this(yes they are out there).Truthfully they will try to put you down.Happened to me a couple times.Never let that get to you.
This fandom is your and nothin can take it away from you.
