New minty green menus!

Since people are bound to ask, yes, the menus just underwent a tiny change. The gigantic menu on the left side of each page has been broken down into 4 smaller sections. We hope that this will make the website easier to navigate for visitors. (Credit goes to Omnibahumut for doing the initial design and layout.) If you run into any problems or notice something that doesn't look quite right, please let us know! Thanks, -- Giza (Anthrocon Webleopard) |

Where's the logout item? I use a shared computer at work and need to log out after visiting.

I just moved it under the "My Account" menu item.
This is subject to change in the future. The menu system in Drupal can be a little... weird some times.

Cool, thanks! Although I feel "My Account" doesn't really fit under "Attendee Info," which deals with subjects relating to the con itself. It would fit better with other items dealing with the web site, perhaps with "Community." And it would be more convenient to be expanded by default. I can't think of any site requiring logins that doesn't have a "logout" link visible in the main navigation.

It, like the website as a whole, is still a work in progress.

Is there a way to collapse the "expandible" menus (e.g., Community Info) once you've expanded them? Clicking on the top subject again doesn't do it
(at least in Firefox)

No -- what controls whether they are collapsed or not is if you are in an item under that menu item. For example, clicking on "events", or anything under it, will cause that menu item to "open" up.
The exception to this are the menu items under "Community". Those are set up to be always expanded for now.
The menus are hardly static, though. I may change things around in the future for easier navigation.

at first didnt think the color would work, but it looks nice i like it a lot, and the new menu layout is a lot better.
altho this is more for the forums, is there a option to mark all the topics read with out having to open them all up? i seem to be over looking that option somewhere hehe

No, not yet. Marking all topics read is an ongoing issue with Drupal that many Drupal users have complained about too.
Hopefully it will be addressed in a later release of Drupal. If not, I can always look into hacking it in.
