the 28X

Just a quick thing on this. My mate and I flew in on the 4th, and there was no one at any of the help desks in the airport to show us how to find the 28X shuttle that would take us into the city. We managed to find it due to the fact that the baggage claim area where we were happened to be right next to it, and we in fact witnessed it arrive and leave while we were waiting. I suggest that a clear(or at least rough) map be made up and posted to the site that shows where the 28X arrives and departs from, in case there are once again no people at the help desks.

Seconded. The 28X is a godsend for AC attendees. Not even three bucks, and it drops you off within a stone's throw of either hotel. I couldn't imagine paying for a taxi or other mode of transport to go all that way.

Another good bit of info to have would be more precise information on where to get off. If you're in Pittsburgh for the first time, it's all too easy to miss the stop.

I split a taxi with 2 other guys. At $13 each (counting tip) it wasn't too bad. Plus we didn't hafta wait for the shuttle to get there and we got a nice cab driver that knew the town well so he was able to tell us what was where and such.

I think BOTH are to be recommended.
The 28X makes a huge difference for some attendees,
and for some others, the "tour guide" capability of a cab driver makes a big difference.
