First off, to the mods--if this is in the wrong section, I offer my deepest apologies. Hopefully it's not. Anyway--where are the KS furs who are headed to AC 08? I'd love to meet more of you guys--since I only know a few here in town, and buddied on here with one. I have YIM to chat if anyone uses that on here (it's the newest one, so if you have the newest MSN chat service, you should be able to talk to/add me. |

Howdy do? I be from the heart of KS granted Russell is give or take in the middle >.>
I found out that I won't be going this year...unless I nag/negotiate my way in which is highly unlikely (curse you CSI) parents are worried about the furverts and me getting...you know >.> so sad to say as it is I won't be there but I am in KS ^_^

I have parents like that, too. Myself, I told them I was furry before the whole C.S.I. episode fiasco (they were asking about my costuming and friends and such). Unfortunately, mother had figured out the wide world of Google Searches before I could compile a good presentation to show them...after that it was "smoke-and-mirrors" acts to get to see my furry friends.
Except for a couple of them--Snow (a fun guy and AWESOME gamer), and RB (Snow's roomie--he works at the Post Office)--I had to really work to get to see them.
Just wait till you're legal and say you're going anyway--the worst they can do is make you get a place of your own, and then you're free to do it anyway...You win both ways. It's not like AnthroCon is going anywhere soon...
