Hello all. I'm just writing in an early notice that my fledgling animation company, United Paws Animations, Inc, will be having a section in the art auction, featuring scenes from our first animated production: a collection of short film pieces entitled "A Day of Dreams". There will be 6 pieces in total. More information will be provided later this autumn! |

We will actually have one short at least that's going to require some complex hybrid 2d/3d effects, of the sort one saw in several rotational panning shots in "Ghost In the Shell: Innocence" and "Tekkon Kinkreet", that movie from last year which was made by the people who did some of the animation in "Animatrix".
This isn't going to be a simple project! I'm going for the maximum effect of style and talent, pushing everyone including myself to the utmost of our ability (in my case, that's meant deciphering the massively complex network of forms and documents required for registering and maintaining a 501(c)3 organization, applying for grants, forming a business plan, keeping records, contacting many many many people to form a support base, interviewing all artists and animators to be involved, and also writing and directing the production itself.
Come by the United Paws Animations table at Anthrocon (assuming I manage to nab one!). You won't be able to miss it, it'll be the one with the huge Hansa lion sitting on it, attracting gobs of attention, as per my evil marketing ploy. >:3
As a sales note, I'll also have prints of each picture for general sale, as well as preorders for up to 5 jumbo-size limited edition prints for each picture.
Plus, the main pictures will be up for sale at the table... I'm debating on fixed price vs. general auction style vs. sealed bid and ballot box.
