General Discussion

Location: wv

hi my name is seth and i have resently found out that i am a furry and it is a very confusing time in my life. i am 16 have a few good friends but. i know even my parents would be ashamed of me if they found out. i am not even shur how to go about this. i want to shout it from the roof tops and hide under my bed. dose any one have any advice on my next turn in life.

Been there myself. My parents weren't big on the whole idea of furry--or most of my changes in my teen years.

I think your next actions should be gauged on how your parents would most likely feel toward furry. If they're prettymuch laid back, then broach it easily. Besides, how do you know they'd really be ashamed of you for thinking for yourself? If they're not, IE--idealistic, regimented, etc--then perhaps maybe you should just keep it quiet. There was a wonderful bit of advice given in another thread about just such a thing.
