That sounds like a really cool idea! I'd love to see a zoo in a state other than my own
I'll be arriving there early A.M. the day of the con, so that would be a good way to wind away some extra hours until check-in time.

Fursuits would be fun! I'd contact the Zoo's management ahead of time, however, just to make sure they're cool with it. No use causing any undue alarm.

permalinkIf there's a lot of fursuiter's going, I'll try my hardest to go. Fursuiters are just TOO cute normally to pass up taking pictures of, not to mention special events like that
And yes, I obsess over taking lots of pictures. I don't have 8 GB of memory cards for nothing!

If some folks are going in fursuits, then a morning might be a better time; it's cooler then.
If i'm around and not helping with the art show, and if i can catch a ride, i wouldn't mind coming along. I might even be persuaded to use my pack to carry a water bottle or two for furs in suit. *smiles*

I'll be selfish and say we should do it Thursday Morning. I'll still be on a bus Wednesday evening. I'd love to get a little site seeing in before the con actually starts--and it'd be nice to be with a group of folks who at least might have been there before...

The last few years my mate and I were unaware that there was a zoo. Kage made us aware at KainCon this year that there indeed was. For that we planned to abduct him and take him to our favorite Sushi place for Sake and Sushi.. Until we found out he doesn't like Sushi... *pout* Count me in, and possibly my mate. I shall be in paws, ears and tail. And probably last years con T-Shirt, since I get one free as a Supersponsor each year. I love AC!
