Cheap flights from Europe to US?

I have a friend who lives in Europe and is trying to get to make it to AC ,but she can't spend 600-800 dollars on a ticket. Does anyone know a place where i can find inexpensive flights from Germany, or london, to the US? The most she can spend is 400 dollars ,but the times and dates are very flexible.(the flight is for June 08.)

Anyone out there able to help a fellow fur get to AC?
