Hi Hi all Well as I stated earlier I'm looking to do a Death of Rats costume for Ac I've started construction on the head (thanks to my AC room mate RB I had a good starting point) and was wondering what you folks might think of my progress. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/848853/ and here are a couple pics of me wearing the frame http://www.furaffinity.net/view/870108/ I've completed a little more work since those pics the final step to the head is just creating the covering and then painting it I'm also planing on constructing a boney rat tail and a scythe Edit: just painting is left and I've started construction of the tail head tail Though I'm thinking about placing a small battery operated fan in the skull my next step is to build the scythe mold for the freindly plastic http://www.furaffinity.net/view/917699/ I decided hot glue would be a cheaper material then freindly plastic the finished Prop |

Holy crap, the Death of Rats! Yay Discworld!!
Though I'm a complete idiot when it comes to costume construction, it's looking really cool so far! Good luck with it!

permalinkIs it okay if I say its spooky? :3 I really like it though! Nice work on the construction. You could use a little ninja mask to cover your face inside.

Your not the first one to say it looked spooky no worries

That's awesome!
Spooky, as was stated, but also very cool.
Spooky is cool, anyhow.

permalinkthanks
I think it's the eyes that help give it the spooky feel
I'm really proud of how the eyes came out, the glowing orbs are much better then the Led pinpricks. Also I won't blind anyone with my gaze but I miss being able to see in the dark. Also the shape of the eye sockets helps with the spooky feel I think. There is a slight point to the sockets that lends it a little more personality.

Just FYI - the notes are beginning to trickle in as the DI arrive home and become rested enough to send email. One not-to-be-named person listed her top Anthrocon moments; this was #2:
