Found someone to do a fursuit for me!

I just got an e-mail from Lacy, of Fursuits by Lacy (http://www.fursuiting.com) and she said she can do my commission! Laughing out loud And, the price she quoted me is very well resonable for what I was asking for, I couldn't be happier. She said I made it in time for slots before AC '08, this has really made my day.

And, I figured out the name for my fursona: Takoda, which is a male Native American name meaning "friend of everyone". I would start up a new User Name account but obviously since my e-mail address is registered to this one, that's a no-can-do. Smiling

But, I figured I'd just share this bit of information because I can't contain myself. Me, personally, I'm ecstatic. I was glad to hear she could do it, because her fursuits are exceptional for the price, a great bang-for-the-buck. Smiling

yeah i desided i am getting one too, granted it was never my intention to at least not at this moment, but all the sudden my friends got theirs and left me as a handler for there carachters, so instead of me being that person i commissioned one from sokitwopaw, who makes very good ones, i think i got his last spot for his old price too so its a pluss.

now i gotta think of how i am going to break it to mah parents about the suit,
its my mom who will over react the most.

seeing as shes seen everything negitive with the fandom, like the vanity fair and the mtv special, and especialy the csi episode. so i dont know what exactly i am going to do but hey at least i got my character.

it going to be a smilodon aka the sabertooth tiger. yay!

A lot of people fear and criticize things they don't understand. And, they don't want to bother doing any research on it, much less hear the true side of it from someone. I say just stand your ground when you tell them about it. Pull in the fact that the Vanity Fair, MTV, CSI episode just make gross assumptions for ratings shouldn't be a factor. You can't always believe what you see on television anyways.

Hey, just wanted to tell you, it is possible to change your user name to whatever you eventually pick (assuming no one else is already using that name on this site) without losing any other data- same registered e-mail address, friends list stays intact, and all posts, only thing that changes is the user name. I know because I had mine changed, and it worked out great. You don't have to re-register, your existing account can be modified. Giza can do this change for you when/if you want it done.

All I can say is that "great minds think alike". I didn't browse all the way through their gallery so that is a complete coincidence. Shoot, and I liked the name Takoda. Sad Alright, back to the drawing board, so to speak...
