Hello ^^, i'm going there for the first time next year, grrr baby very grr. so, will you be able to do other stuff than just being into the Convention.. i'm a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan and would love to drool over their home arena = Mellon arena. Mmmmmm Penguins and melons *drools* Do'h. |

It's unfortunate that the hockey season will be over when Anthrocon comes around. But you can pick up lots of Penguins memorabilia just about anywhere in town.

The only mandatory event is registration/check-in, so i do i don't see any reason why you couldn't go visit the arena, maybe even catch a game if there's one happening. I personally don't much care for sports, but that's just me; i daresay there are others who might be more interested.

There are many wonderful things once can see in the city of Pittsburgh, outside of Anthrocon. We don't run a lock-in event.
Anytime before, during, or after the convention, do check out the city.. especially if you're from another country!
