I'm from Scandinavia! I'm from finland, so basically because you are from Sweden, i hate your hockey teams ^^. Not really though, but the hockey feud between our countries makes me laugh from time to time

Not quite familiar with Finnish yet... Finnish grammar has nothing in common with the rest of Scandinavia. Their language is an entirely different realm. @_X
I love how it sounds, though. If you like rock, listen to Ruoska. Järvet Jäihin Jää and Amortem are really cool songs.

Didnt mean you Sonic God, that was danish no? Or norwegian, they sound funny to my ear...
And Ruoska is good band, but if you want a tad different rock from anything else, search for Viikate. Recommended for all, for their sound, lyrics are good too, but Finnish, so you'd have to understand it then ^^

"Glædelig Jul" is, in fact, Danish for "Gladly Yule." Norwegian is very similar, "God Jul, or Gledelig Jul." It has the same meaning. In Sweden, "God Jul" is also accepted, but you hear "och ett gott nytt år."
Danes understand the Norwegian language, but not the other way around, due to grammar structure differences. At least that's what a Danish friend told me.
And... I believe it's Hyvaa Joulua in Finnish. ^^

Since we're talking about Scandinavia, I might as well inject a little Danish into the conversation:

That Hippo sounds like Ome Henk there ^^
and yes, Hyvää joulua in finnish... It's so strange how much they have in common on those languages (swedish, norwegian and so on)

"Danish language has always been impossible to understand for most Scandanavians. But in recent years it has been impossible for us to understand for us in Denmark, too. [...] The Danish language has collapsed into meaningless guttural sounds."
Yes, I pay way too much attention to goings on in Denmark.
