Bad News

Due to sudden financial changes, as well as living changes at home, it is with a deep regret that I inform everyone that I will not be able to attend AnthroCon 2008. I'm sorry to all those who would have wanted to see me there. However, I am currently looking into other conventions near my area. It would seem there are a few going on in Conneticut, which is an hour's ride from my hose. I'm sorry everyone, but AC 08 is a no go for me. v.v

Not to be insensitive, but that's a pretty misleading subject line. One would assume this was some sort of bad news applying to the convention, being that this is the Anthrocon General Discussion forum.

Sorry you won't be able to make it though, but there's always the next one, and still several months before AC 2008, so who knows, things may change in time for next year's AC anyway.

LIke Sonic said, Life happens, but there will always be More Anthrocons to attend.

We were unable to make it last year due to financial problems, as were alot of others, And I dont doubt that more will be appearing with the same problem this year.

Hope to see you next year:D

Well, there's always FurFright. Quite a difference from Anthrocon, being smaller and more intimate in general, but lots of fun.

If you like anime, don't forget to check out Anime Boston for a nice con fix in the spring. You'll find a few furry artists kicking around in the Alley there (e.g. Skulldog), showing off both their anime and furry portfolios. Also a great reminder that furry is far from being the most hormone-laden fandom out there ^_^

Well, what I thought was once bad news, just turned into good news. I am now able to go to AC, as I have had to fix a few "problems". But none the less, let's turn this funeral train around, and head straight for Party Town. XD Oh, I even booked me and a friend of mine at The Westin Hotel. I'll be sending them a bank check, since I don't have a credit card. x.x

Well, I'll definately be there, don't worry about that. xD Now... As for an alternate way of paying for my SuperSponsership via an alternative method such as a check, who would I speak to about that?
