Ok I wanted to reserve a room at the Westin today, I filled out all the info, but there is nothing to click to send the info. All there was is this blue bar that says nothing and is not clickable. Did I forget something or they working on their site?

Their IT department probably has a skeleton crew, given that it's Thanksgiving weekend, so please try again on Monday. If the problem persists, send us a screen shot so we can see what you're seeing. Thanks!

Stupid question: do you have Javascript/ActiveX turned off in your browser? The site may need that to work Sad

Thanks for the screenshot.

It doesn't appear to require Javascript, because I was able to reproduce the problem on my end. I'll let Jaime know.

Okay, I found a workaround. Look under that blue button... there is a white blurb that says "review your reservation" on a very light gray background. Click that, and it will submit your reservation.

I loaded up that same page in Internet Explorer and it rendered fine there. Clearly someone did not test their code under FireFox. Sticking out tongue

I was beginning to think that may of been a concern. I was using firefox and never even thought about trying the same thing on explorer. Thanks the information. ^.^

Glad to hear everything is okay for you now. However I always use Firefox and never encountered this problem. However my Firefox doesn't load the banners at the top of the AC site, so I had to dig through old archives to find when the con dates were so I could make my reservation in the first place. Still having that problem in fact.

Maybe each Firefox program comes with its own unique glitch/problem for each user? Smiling

I can't get to the screen shot (Photobucket blocked from work), but I know that there is an ongoing problem with the Starwood site with Firefox. We have the same problem with the Midwest FurFest room reservation page :/

Okay, I have an update on this. A fix has been made and is scheduled to go into "production" on December 9th?

(Why the long wait? Well, as a programmer, I can speculate.. chances are that multiple changes are being pushed into production at once, not just the fix for FireFox. And when changes are pushed, they need to be QAed first, to make sure that anything that is added does not break any other functionality on the website. Yeah, large e-commerce platforms can be SO fun to manage sometimes, I'll tell you. Smiling )
