Ear tags

From watching BBF's videos, I've noticed that a few fursuiters wore orange ear tags. I also saw how walking up to one of the Dorsai, you can ask for one. Is this the correct way to get one or can you get them during registration when you show up? I'd like to have one and would like to know the proper way to get one. |

The "Tracking Program" is completely at the whim of the Dorsai. Asking doesn't automatically get you one. Being entertaining or endearing or having a really spiffy suit or as I said, our whim MIGHT garner you an ear tag.
So, see you at the con.. and you never know, you might get a tap on the back and TAGGED

permalinkAh, so that's what it is. Video really didn't go into detail. ^^ Just showed 3 suiters walking up to some folks in the red shirts, pointed at their ears or at the tags, and "Wa-la", they got ear tags. Never really knew how that worked out, thanks for explaining.

I also know for a fact that tracking data is being recorded all across the fandom, as someone at Midwest FurFest was recording the ear tag numbers and names to be sent to the Dorsai.

Barring major disaster, we will. This year was lots of fun because out supplier went out of business and we had to do some interesting research to find one of the same price.

once I get a fursuit (and if) I will probably tag it myself and if I can chip it lol we have a special system we use to tag cattle and I wonder if I could tag my suit hmmmm... it's not a clip... ohhhh noooo it's a full out piercing tag, orange, and FYI our family owns a farm and a bunch of cattle so I'd use our system for my actual birth-date and chip myself ^^
