Questions on the hotel and costumes

If you have a friend/spotter/handler with you, he/she can hold onto your personal items. Or, you can at least have your wallet on you when you're wearing your fursuit.

Where do you put your personal items like your wallet, camera, batteries and such while you're in the costume?

That's up to you. Some people keep them on themselves, some have their friends/handlers hold onto them, and some leave them in their hotel room, taking only their room key. It's your call.

When do you suppose the hotel will be fully booked by?

No idea. If you plan on getting a room, I would recommend booking one as soon as you have things finalized on your end. Of course, you can always share a room with someone. We will have our roomshare forum up in January.

When's the latest I can book a hotel room in the Westin?

In theory, the day of the con. There are always a few cancellations as the con approaches. This is not recommended, of course. The best thing I can suggest is to watch our website for announcements about how full the Westin (and OMNI) are.

If I've already booked it, how do I request the fursuit floor?

We will have a form for this at http://www.anthrocon.org/fursuit-floor in early May, 2008.

Will there be an opportunity to meet other costumers?

Sure. They'll be all over the place.
