Compared to cities in Europe, Pittsburgh is young.

In another 250 years, Pittsburgh will be telling kids to get off its lawn. Sticking out tongue

America is young, period. 250 years in terms of a continent's history might as well be the age of a human toddler.

Still, though, congratulations to the great city of Pittsburgh and its accomplishments.

Anthrocon 2006 was in the same year that the Pittsburgh Steelers won the Super Bowl. ^^

Congrats to Pittsburgh! They've had a rough time for many years, and through all that they've managed to keep some really awesome gems of places to visit. I'm cheering them on! (And what does it really matter if they're not the oldest city? :/ )

well UncleKage, you might see another large spike in attendance this year. you may want to double check the charts and graphs to add that into the equation for the number of attendees guess.

That would be nice! The only thing is that we are not a public event. We are "members only" (although anyone can get a membership).
