What would you get, a Wind/Wingsuit or a Fursuit?

Basically a wingsuit enables you to fly/glide like a flying squirrel, getting speeds up to terminal velocity.

The price of a wingsuit is in the same area of cost of a fursuit, and both are extremely fun (if you are into fursuiting). But what would you get?

For every foot you fall, you move forward 3 feet. So no, hes gliding. But you know that.

This looks a little too scary for me. I would much rather have a fursuit instead of a wingsuit. Anyway, how do you land without seriously hurting yourself?

That's why they call it terminal velocity.

I thought it was called terminal velocity because you would reach maximum speed after falling so long in ration with your body weight.

That was intended as a joke. Terminal velocity is the maximum speed you can (normally) achieve in free fall, where wind resistance balances gravity acceleration. Terminal, however, has other meanings... such as fatal.

You use a parachute. But there are people trying to land with out use of extra equipment.

You know, I remember seeing a documentary on the initial production and testing of the first such wingsuit on the Discovery Channel, where someone decided to beat the Guiness record for distance traveled while parachuting. He had a GPS on him and all that...

As for the guys in that video, pulling all those stunts and flying that close to the ground...there's one thing that boggles my mind. How in the world can they still fly with BALLS THAT LARGE?!

That is simply the most awesome stuff I've seen in a long time. And it looks quite fun. Anyone who can fall with style that close to rock walls, buzz roads, and pull any stunts like those has my immediate respect.

WOW Shocked that is sooo cool. i would definatly get a wind suit over a fur suit, but only if i could access somewhere to use it pretty easily. great now i have another thing to add to the list of stuff to do before i die.
