I Just got off the phone with the Westin, they told me that all the rooms with double beds are BOOKED up. However I was able to get a room with one king sized bed and put a request in for one roll away cot to be added. Just a heads up here, the rooms are going fast at the Westin, Looks like it will be another KICK-BUTT CON ! Sharky |

It just means we need to add more rooms to our block.

I must agree with Sharky. Hopefully, for myself, the third time will be the charm (now that I have ample experience with the place).
Anthrocon was always "kick-butt." I quoted Anthrocon to be "The Super Bowl of Furry Conventions."
Do you agree?

The Westin has been notified and is looking into it.
Our contract allows us a certain number of doubles and a certain number of king rooms per night. Right now it seems that the allotted number of doubles has been reached on one or more nights. Here are the possibilities:
1) We've sold out of doubles on a night where there are more available outside of our block. In that event we'll just move them into our block.
2) We've sold out of doubles on a night where we already have every double room in the hotel booked. In that event, folks will just have to reserve a king room. Remember, though, that we anticipate a certain number of cancellations around the end of April (the latest that a room can be canceled without a one-night payment as penalty). If any doubles open up, people can contact the hotel and request that king-bed reservations be changed over to a double.
PLEASE LET ME STRESS THAT SPECIFIC ROOM-TYPES ARE NEVER GUARANTEED! The hotel will note which type of room you requested and will do its darnedest to accommodate your request, but there is always a chance that when you arrive that type of room will not be available. This is a simple reality of the hotel business, one for which all travellers must be prepared.
