So here I am with a friend at Wal-Mart, going to pick up a DS because my last one was stolen (I hate school) when I suddenly spy a soul Wii. My brain just blows, because its just not suppose to be possible to see one (they are known to sell out with in 10 to 35 minutes of being on the shelf). Sadly I only have $180 on me. So my friend goes home to get his $100 and I get to stand infront of a game case around 1 AM hopping no one saw the wee.

Needless to say, I gots it! 83

Thumbs up to you. Nice score. My landlord ended up paying $400 for a Wii from craigslist that came with that Wii Sports package. I got $40 out of it. $20 for going to get it, another $20 for setting it up for him on his TV.

Good score, can only image how happy you are. Eye-wink

Yeah, after talking to the people at Wal-Mart about the Wii I picked up, it turns out that it was a fluke for that one to be on the shelf. It was suppose to be a replacement for their current one.

I got mine about a year and a month ago. It took some doing. We basically camped on the top floor of the mall sort of in the parking garage till they let us in, and I got really lucky then. That was the second time I had tried to get one though. The first time was on launch date, and that was insane. My friend right in front of me got the last one out of 52. I picked up a wiimote and began playing with some hacks for that though in the meantime haha.

Anyway, enjoy your new video game hardware!

I remember seeing something on G4 that compaired the lines for getting a PS3, a Wii, and an 360.

The PS3 lines were hell

The 360 lines were full of people who needed to bath and play any other game besides Halo.

And the Wii lines were awesome. There was talk about how people were holding contests in PictoChat to see who could draw the best penis. That and they were the most well behaved. XD

I bought my parents a Wii for Christmas. I don't play video games much but they wanted one.

Mom made a Mii that looks like me and has been beating the stuffing out of it on Wii Sports Boxing.
