Buddy List Notification Glitch

Found a glitch in the Buddy List code today. I received a notification that someone had added me to their buddy list, and the subject line was "%adder_name has added you as a buddy". I'm guessing that's a configuration variable in the settings that's not being read properly. Anyway, not a huge bug, but still a bug. Hope this helps! |

I had the same thing last week, I thought that they wanted to keep the name annonymous until you click on it in your email. I'm not sure tho.

permalinkI've had that happen to be before. I've paid no mind to it, I figured that's how it was supposed to be.

Yeah, and I'm annoyed. I just upgraded to the latest version of the buddylist module, too. Clearly they need to do a little more QA.
I think I'm going to get Omni Group when it comes out, so I can put little things like, "write and submit a patch for buddylist" into my TODO list to take care of sometime.

Nifty-looking application, too bad it's Mac-only. I just use the task organizer in Outlook, I'm too lazy to micro-manage my to-do list to the extent that would justify something like that

Actually, it's big strength is how you can group tasks into larger projects, and assign contexts to them. This gives you different ways of looking at your tasks so that, for example, you can pull up the "phone" context and see what outstanding phonecalls you need to make.
I recommend checking out the video on that page, it goes into lots more detail.

permalinkHey, in all honesty, it was me sent her. But, I figured you'd like to get whacked in the head by a nice looking female.
And, you complain about the headache and this is the thanks I get?
