The Westin has a limited number of suites available for Anthrocon attendees for 2008.

If you are interested in having a suite at Anthrocon, email the chairman directly at ceo(at)anthrocon.org. We strongly suggest that the words "WESTIN SUITE" appear prominently in the subject line, as he gets a lot of emails these days. You will receive instructions for reserving a suite. Be certain that the name in which you intend to make the reservation is included in the email.

Note: Suites are not available on Wednesday night.

There are three types of suites:

Corner Suite: $250 per night. This is a two-room suite with a king bed in one room and a small parlor room attached.

One-Bedroom Parlor Suite: $365 per night. This is a good-sized room with a king-sized bed attached to a sizeable parlor. Parlor suites are sold out. Email ceo(at)anthrocon.org if you would like to be put on a waiting list in case a parlor suite becomes available.

Two-Bedroom Parlor Suite: %480 per night. Same as the one-bedroom, but on the other side is a room with two double beds. Parlor suites are sold out. Email ceo(at)anthrocon.org if you would like to be put on a waiting list in case a parlor suite becomes available.

(note that room rates do not include 14% tax per night).

Here is the catch: a one-night deposit will be required at the time of the reservation to secure the suite, and that deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE IF YOU CANCEL THE RESERVATION. Hence, serious inquiries only, and don't say we didn't warn you. The deposit will be applied to your bill when you check out. Note that this deposit will be due immediately, not at the end of April, and it is not refundable; thus, be very certain that you will be attending before you reserve a suite.

Remember, you must email ceo(at)anthrocon.org, and include the name in which the reservation would be made. You may not hear back immediately, especially if we get more people asking than we have suites available, but we'll do our best to return the information as soon as space is available.

A special note to those who plan to reserve suites for parties: Remember that there are no party-floors in the Westin. Any gatherings must adhere to Anthrocon's party policy, in that the noise and the crowds both must be kept entirely contained within the room.

Question: Is the deposit amount just the room rate, or will it be the room rate plus the taxes for that night?

ie, for a two-bedroom suite, would the deposit be $480, or $547.20?

I'm 99.9% certain that it is room and tax. Again, the deposit will be credited to your stay once you check out, so if you stay 3 nights, you will only pay for 2 nights when you leave.

Cool, thanks for the info. I haven't gotten a response to my email requesting the reservation info yet, is there a delay in the process? Or was I overlooked?

I figured as much, sorry for being impatient. I missed my chance last year, due to a miscommunication with the person I'm sharing this suite with, I don't want to miss it this year due to a miscommunication with Kage Sticking out tongue

Certainly. Start by clicking here. Read the disclaimer, then click the big bold statement at the bottom of the page, and it will take you to a page with information on both our hotels.

Affirmative. They went faster than a one-eyed bloodhound in a rusty vacuum cleaner. The only thing left are the corner suites now.

Oh dear, I hope a suite will be left for my aunt (and possibly my cousin as well!)

They are going fast. Have you sent in a suite request?
