Hello every one. I am Mursa ArtDragon. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to going to the next con, I couldnt make this year cause I am military and had things come up. But I wanted to ask if I could get some tips on making fur suits. Right now Im trying to make my suit with foam and liquid latex (I am a dragon incase you hadnt guessed) But I'm also trying to attend Further Confusion and I know the true costume wont be done for a long while. I was hoping on possibly getting tips for making an actual fur suit dragon to substitute and hopefully be able to finish it in time. I have like 5 months so I should be able to get the paws and tail for sure and I have a good idea how. but I have no idea how to make a head to it. I see so many for suit heads but I cant figure out whats done to make them. Can some one please help me out? P.S. Yes I know my spelling sucks |

thank you rover I'll take a look. I hope to see you there. Oh I was wondering what the T in your name stood for. Right now my fursona name would be Mursa A Dragon . I know its lame ^^; but it stands for my buisness name.

The "T" stands for "The" as in Rover The Mutt. A disappointment huh.
I got the name from friends when they reversed my name. I couldn't just drop the letter. So I came up with this name to keep the first six letters in the reverse order.

I couldn't describe myself well and since I try to avoid pictures, I don't have any on hand to show. However, I tend to be in suit about half the time I'm at FC so here's a pic of a returning character there.

He usually is wondering around taking pictures.

well Im so glad you helped me and talked to me.
Just to give you a hint what to look for. Im making a sort of quicker temporary costume aside from my dragon one that will take like a year. It will be a white fox with black paws. but heres the big thing on how to find me. I will be whereing a white sleevless trench coat with a embroidered name tape saying "mursa" on it. also the torn cloths and chains I like to where.

permalinkon your first posting i see your trying to cover foam with laytex.there are a few fabric out there tat can short cut a fist suit if you looking for rubber and shiny dragon.a lot fabric are called coated fabrics.there coated with laytex or rubber or other coating.depending on thickness of coating and the fabric hows the fabric bends and feels.a lot of these are sold a swimsuit frabric or dance wear.
