Footwear Question

Hello all
sorry to be a bother but I had a question and was hoping I might be able to get an answer. For the death of rats costume I'm building I was planning on using a pair of treaded slipper/socks with some latex bones sewn to the top for the feet. It's just to give the foot a better shape with the latex bones on top.

I was wondering if that would break rules of the convention or the hotel?

Edit:
well apparently they don't make the sort of slipper socks I'm looking for any moreso I'm going to go with the black socks on sandels Idea.

I don't know but that costume sounds really cool! (I'm a Discworld fan, too.) Maybe you could carry a pair of black flipflops or glue the socks to the base of black flipflops so they have soles. (I was so tempted to write souls, there! LOL!)

the costume is done except for the feet and the robe... and the scythe sheath It should be fun. I'm glad there will be some folks who ge the referance.

I'm also hoping to pick up a raven plush at the con so I can have a Quoth

Now if you could find a girl who is willing to wear a black dress and speak in ALL CAPS, it could be interesting to see if anyone gets the reference. She could run from you while denying your existence.

Hmmm Maybe my sister will do it

I'm also thinking of making a plush little Death of fleas pin. (he was mentioned as surviving the purge of deaths on Rat at the end of reaperman but has never been seen again)

I'd say go with the sandals that you can strap on to your feet with the velcro setup. Maybe you can design around that? It would give you better grip and footing when you're walking.

I'm thinking you're good to go with the treaded socks, they have a sole, albeit thin, but a sole nontheless.
