hi everyone. I was wondering if any one could tell me how much parking cost's for the week or if it's included with the room or however they work it as well as any other information. thanx:)
The reason being is that Pittsburgh has several parking lots within walking distance, and we haven't yet gotten all the prices for this year. You can visit our old parking page here, but be advised that those are last year's prices.
We also try to get discounts for parking at the Westin for folks who stay there.
Standard for a downtown hotel in any major city, Pittsburgh being no different. Heck, I was just at a convention in Arlington, VA, completely suburban area and all the hotels in the area charged stupid amounts of money to park, just a little less for those staying in the hotel.

Was at this conin Arlington with Skippy, 13 dollars a day to park at the hotel, unless you had a room, then it was 9 dollars a day. And the parking garage was TINY!! But ya to second the above statement it is very very uncommon to find free parking anywhere in the downtown section of a city.
I think it's usual that people who have reserved a room will get some sort of discount on parking that's in or nearest their hotel. Since I live close by, I don't intend to get a room but will need parking that doesn't close very early. I'll probably use the Mellon Square Garage since that's a good location for me to access the Parkway East and it's a 24 hour location.

The real answer is: we don't know yet!

Discounts for folks who stay at the Westin? I assume you're talking about non-customers who stay overnight in a customer's room?

No, we're talking specifically about the individuals whose name the room is rented in.
At least that's how it was last year.

Wow... even Days Inn has free parking for customers... that makes this place sound pretty shoddy.

permalinkArlington's horrible anyways. Cause it does.
Same for Alexandria.
Tho, I've never been a city fan.

If Days Inn had 700 rooms and more than 90,000 feet of function space, we'd have the con there.

As funny as that thought is, it'd be a pretty gross con. I've never had a Days Inn room that didn't find a way to disgust me somehow.

On the other hand, paying $15/person/night for a 4-man room is pretty fancy on the wallet.
