Operator: Gira Globo Charter
AC Type: Beechcraft King Air B200
Reg: D2-FFK
Aboard: 12 Fatalities: 12 Ground: 0
Route: Luanda, Angola - Huambo, Angola
Details: The twin engine plane crashed into mountains in poor weather conditions. The pilots were not trained properly for IFR flying conditions. All passangers and crew were killed on the inital impact.
The aircraft was a Beechcraft King Air B200 with the tail number of
D2-FFK (Delta two-Foxtrot Foxtrot Kelo) The low clouds were the main cause of the crash.
R.I.P to the passangers of King Air FFK. The heavy rain was also one of the causes.
And this is just to show that flying, without the proper training can be deadly. Thats why I have
taken extra long to perfect my flying skills. May all those who perished on that flight rest in peace.
