Hey all, Finally after 4 and a half long years my duty to the United States Air Force has ended, and I get to attented anthrocon 2008, yippie. Lil about me, some or more of you allready know me, but I used to live in MD, joined up with the USAF, moved to Nebraska, went to mff, deployed lots. 2 years later, moved to japan, went to camp feral, deployed lots more. On my last deployment, then moving to beloved PA in a few months. So all that introduction sass' aside, I most likely will be attending AC, and would love to get all those crazy mil furs out there together, maby pre-post conwise, maby during con. I dunno, what's everyone's view on all this? Not limiting this it US armed forces, You Canadian, europe, peace corp, whatever forces are all wecome to hang out, chat an get together in our general furry crazyness. Give me a bark, howl, mew, whatever if you mil furs are planning on attending AC |

wow I dont know you but wanted to say hi nice to meet ya =3, and you do our country good for serving in the armed forces, anyway I myself am always looking for new friends and that I live in PA as well =3, so I hope we can bcome furriends ^^

Well sir, thank you for fulfilling your service to your country. I too am a milfur. I am a CDT PVT, soon to be CDT SSG whenever the paperwork finally goes through. I'm ROTC at Valley Forge Military College, and will be commissioning in the US Army. I would love to hang out with you at the con.

I'm quite surprised to see a number of furs serving our country. Until I saw this thread, Vegaguy was the only fur I knew of that was in the military.
I'm not in the military in anyway shape or form however. The only thing I came close to was being in the JROTC army program back in high school. I did rise in the ranks quickly but ultimately came to a sad end due to conflicts not having to do anything with me. That and the way they treated my brother... is not acceptable. Thats a story for another time though. Despite my rather dim views, I respect and honor those that made them a success in their lives... that and I get jitty and embarrassed around milfurs.

Army, former active duty, recently switched to National Guard.
As for the fur attending in ACUs, I'd *really* check regs and unit policies before you do, unless you're going in an official Army capacity. Just trying to look out for you.
