Important notice for dealers: tax license application has changed

As of January 1, 2008, the PA Department of Revenue is no longer accepting the short REV-518 FO form that we had on this site. It was apparently too great a chore for them to inform us of this in advance, and we apologize for any inconvenience. If you applied for your sales tax license since January 1 using the short form, you will likely get the application returned. There is information on how to use the updated application system in our newly-revised Dealer Packet.

This was the one time where the fact that my 501(c)3 company paperwork is really complex actually helped!

I called up and found out I needed to use the online form for its tax-exemption section. I'm actually ahead of the ballgame for once! All thanks to the IRS and its mindbogglingly complex regulations. ;P
