E-mail for gaming events?

OK, so I tried the programming e-mail and found out it didn't work... (And yes, I removed the (at) and replaced it with @!)

Who do I hit up for getting a gaming event scheduled?

I would recommend using the Suggest A Panel form.

What do you mean by "It didn't work?" Do you mean to say it bounced back, or that you did not get a response?

We have a challenge with Programming because that particular address gets about 1,000,000,000,000 emails a day. There is no way that we can answer every single one, and we do not have the money to hire a secretary to answer every one of them for us.

If you're volunteering, let me know!

Did you get a bounce or what?

Saying "it didn't work" provides me with nothing to troubleshoot. Sad

As in I e-mailed it and the e-mail bounced back saying the e-mail had "permanent fatal errors".

Are you trying programming-2008(at)anthrocon.org ?

With a dash, not a dot, before the 2008? And .org, not .com ?

It has a dash? The link in the FAQ has a dot.

Well, that's not so good. I've fixed that by making it link to the contact page instead. Smiling

Here I'm thinking I'm a total noob after six years of AC goings and can't even get an e-mail to work... Glad I found that and could help fix it!

That could be caused by lots of things out of our control. Can you forward me (giza(at)anthrocon.org) the bounce you received?
