Well I'm ready to go this year however I have run into a snag I was suppose to be married this April before the con however, after some disscussion we've push back the date to July. So the problem is...when I go to get my tag I'm still Kramer...whist I registered with my fiance's surname Cochran. Thinking I will still be Mrs Cochran and not Miss Kramer. Now that my name isn't going to be changed how will I get my badge? |

"Contact us" says the Registration Dept's email address is
"registration-2008 (AT) anthrocon.org."
"If you have a question or concern about your membership, or becoming a member, send your mail here, but please check the FAQ first."
With plenty of notice (like, say, asking this month), I'm pretty confident
they can make the correction painlessly.
(I'm pretty confident this one isn't asked frequently enough to
make the FAQ list.)

I've spoken with BluStorm by email, and we've got it taken care of. For the further edification of all:
We understand and do expect that occasionally legal names will be altered, especially by marriage. Generally speaking, we would like you to register under the name that matches your photo identification. If you think there may be complications, it never hurts to bring documentation of a legal name change, especially if it's more than taking the last name of another.
Always feel free to speak with registration in advance by email, as well. A potential difficulty we know about becomes greatly less difficult as a rule.
