Anyone getting there Wednesday?

Speaking of socialising, kage. I'm bringing a number of vintages from a local winery. I DO HOPE you'll be popping in(We'll probobly be opening them at Sir Kains room party) to sample.

So what do you have in mind ??? Hmmm....i can only wonder hehe ^..^

hah... well darn. Looks like I'll be there Tuesday XD Ohh, my friend gets to see why I'm going to pittsburgh when he picks me up from the airport. I must stay with him for the night until I check in to the DT on the 25th.

X) he offered to let me stay with him 26 miles out of town, I think that would've been a bad mistake since I want to go to the con and wander around aimlessly in Pittsburgh.

If i'm there on wednesday and petercat hasn't already put me to work, i'd be happy to come lend a claw. Or ply you with fudge and chatter in your ear, for that matter, if that's better.

I can stop by and keep you company ^^ I'm just not very good at conversation. Then again, I'll probably be doing volunteer work again.

I will be there, my plane arrives at 5pm'ish, so if i CAN get a good nights sleep when flying over atlantic i will be eager to help Kage and others on setting up. Just so that i have something to dig my hands into (i'm sorta workaholic, find it hard to sit down)
otherwise i will get lost in the fair city.
Plus i dont know jack 'bout American culture so it would just rock to do some chores or socialize, to get to know the American people. From Finland myself and just the sheer size of the city will a) get me lost b) get me to a wrong part of town c) something else, what?

I'm coming from so far away that i'll arrive on wednesday just to prolong my visit, and doing something to help would be awesome. I'd meet sgt.Steve too, who wanted to meet me

I'll be arriving in Pittsburgh Sat or Sun before the con, now how is that for early?

I'm going to the zoo, an other undisclosed place, and going to be looking around for clients or work though so I can move to a city which is near/next to Pittsburgh.

Yeah last year I did some volunteer work. I spent the majority of my time between bag stuffing and registration. Then like a schmuck I forgot to send the little paper in to get proper credit for it

Yes; we require that you be at least walking and talking (or walking and wheeling, if you use a wheelchair) before you volunteer for us.

Actually, not so much an age limit but an extra step required. The Volunteer page is still being updated for this year, but it's safe to assume that what's stated on last year's page is still true:
