*Charline de Lyon notes* I'd also like to note that there are taxidermy specimens of my leonine cousins who've been slaughtered in the oppression by the evil humans that sell for $12,000. Yet this artificial model looks far better than the mutilated hides of my murdered kin!

So, by buying models instead, people would support artists who go to great lengths to create a life-like image of my noble kind, versus paying the same price for the deteriorated remains of one whose life was cruelly snatched away by the wicked rich white hunters and their cowardly use of guns!

I mean, just look at how we were portrayed in that movie! A few lions try to fight back against the hairless monkey invasion into our lands and the decimation of our species and we're labelled bloodthirsty killers! Yet humans can kill us and hang our bodies in their houses and be called 'sport hunters'? It's a double standard I tell ya! The hypocrisy of it all! I know the whole argument, when a lion kills people it can't be because of freedom fighting because we tend to eat them afterward. Well so what? You know the ol saying 'waste not, want not', don't ya?

And humans are so easy to catch... no claws, horns, or fangs either... I mean, you should be thankful we're not eating them all the time! Heck of a lot easier than going after a Cape buffalo, after all.
