I have a question, last year, I was told that videocameras were not allowed during opening ceremonies. I was only going to videotape for my own consumption. What is, and what is Not allowed to be videotaped this year.. I don't want to get to the ceremonies, then find out I won't be able to tape. It was very disaponting last year. |

I would recommend reviewing the Photography and Media FAQ. Whoever told you that video cameras were not allowed was incorrect.

We were made aware of that issue shortly after the con, and it was addressed with the individuals involved.
If this should happen in the future, feel free to escalate the issue by asking them to check with the current Duty Officer. Or you can just swing by Ops and speak to anyone who is working there.
