Tail and ear building?

So I have a friend who is going to build a tail and ears for me but I want to send her a reference for how to build a tail and ears anyone have any good links?

Also, remember that an animal's ear fur runs to the tip of the ear, and the the tail fur runs to the bottom of the the tail.
