LDS furries?

I'm a first-time Con-goer, and although I'm going to be 18 this year, my parents are extremely apprehensive about allowing me to attend. I've heard that there is a group of LDS furs that will be meeting up there; is there any chance that I could get in on that? ^^; I'm sure that my parents would appreciate knowing that I will be staying with/near people of my faith. Hmm, I don't know of any such groups off the top of my head.
On the other hand, have you considered bringing your parents along? The Chairman's parents attend every year, and mine have attended before. And yes, we're considering having a panel called, "So, my kid dragged me along to Anthrocon".

If by LDS you mean Latter-Day Saints, I'm sure there might be one or two running around. I'm not Mormon myself, but I do know one, and I've studied the religion a bit, just more to understand it than follow it.
So if nothing else, at least you have a fellow seeker there!
